The Home Server Show celebrates its 100th show! And I join them…

July 30, 2010

Today ‘The Home Server Show‘ celebrates its 100th show.
If you look back at when it all started and where they are now… you can only call that fantastic & well done!

It grew from Dave Mc Cabe, just talking a bit about experiences/news related to Home Server to a team that prepares/posts articles & shows and invest a lot of time to make it happen.
AutoExit was featured in some shows, and the same goes for AdminiMe here.
He also interviewed quite a bit of people already, from the community as from Microsoft itself.
I can say for myself that it’s one of my friday shows that I won’t miss and I have been listening since show #1. 🙂
And Dave was the first registrant of AdminiMe.

Congratulations Dave & the whole HSS Team!!!

For this special occasion I am donating 15 licenses of AdminiMe that you can win!
And from 30/07/2010 until 06/07/2010, the price of AutoExit for the HSS listeners will be 7€/$/Pounds or 700Yen.
You can access it via this page.

You can find show 100 here: http://homeservershow.com/the-home-server-show-100.html

Enjoy!

AutoExit 2009 UR-1 Released!

July 16, 2010

It’s been a while since AutoExit has been updated; the reason is porting everything to Vail, digging into the new SDK, writing some articles, and working on the future versions of the addins… too much to handle actually 😉

But… I finally managed to get some help to translate AutoExit into Spanish which a lot of people asked for.

Another new feature is that it now contains a commandline tool that can be used to execute shutdown/reboot/… actions.
This can be very useful in cases where you script or want to execute actions in other applications that then execute the commandline tool and have the power of AutoExit to shutdown/reboot/… machines.

I couldn’t have done the translation on my own of course, I got great help from F. Javier Fernández Gómez.
He did a great job, have a look yourself!
